Ridgeons are the biggest timber and building supplies company in East Anglia operating in over 20 locations including a number of specialist stores for areas like plumbing, decorating, power tools and flooring. They currently create seven distinct catalogues for areas such as heating and plumbing, bathrooms, power tools and garden.

Using only their existing, small in-house production team it is hoped that the Matrix CMS will do two things; Remove all need for external page production, resulting in massive time and cost saving and secondly, free up even more time so that they can create more catalogues with the same team.

The system has only been used on two catalogues so far but the results are already being noticed by Marketing Manger, Guy Rodgers, "Looking at the project it seems incredible that we have produced a 216 page catalogue (from scratch) to print in just three weeks. Usually we allocate 3 months. It is certainly a feat I have not seen, to date, in my career history and a milestone I will look back on and think 'Wow".
