To create a new Retrieva catalogue, choose New Catalogue from the File menu.

You can also use the keyboard shortcut Command N.

Retrieva will then ask you to choose where to save your new catalogue. Once you have chosen a name and a location, the currently opened catalogue (if there is one) will close, and the new catalogue will open.
