The Users section of the Retrieva preferences window is split into three vertical sections. The right most section is concerned with connected users.

In Retrieva Server, any users connected to Retrieva are shown in the connected users list on the right.

If you are logged in as the Retrieva administrator, you can send a message to connected users and you can also disconnect users from the system.
