Retrieva's web server configuration options allow you to set the size of the cache, the maximum number of concurrent connections and the timeout for inactive web processes.

The cache number only refers to the cache for static web content. Most of Retrieva's content is generated dynamically so this defaults to 0kb. You may find a small speed improvement by setting this figure to up to 1024kb.

The maximum number of concurrent connections specifies how many users can log on to the Retrieva web server simultaneously. This defaults to 4,000.

The Inactive Web Process Timeout specifies how long a web connection stays open without any calls to the server. This defaults to 15 minutes.
