Clicking on the Monitor button allows you to select a watched folder to be monitored by Retrieva.

Any new media files saved into this folder will then automatically be imported into Retrieva. Any files that are already stored in the Retrieva database but are then modified will have the modifications automatically reflected in Retrieva ensuring that the information stored in Retrieva is always up to date and fully synchronized with the actual files.
